FallFlicks: The LSJL Goes to the Movies with the CJFF

the Levine-Sklut Judaie Library
(LSJL) and the Charlotte Jewish
Film Festival (CJFF) are exeited
to announee the debut of Fall-
Flieks, a brand new film series
that will quite possibly beeome as
mueh a part of November as those
other events.
“For the last few years, we
have talked about moving toward
year-round programming,” said
CJFF Co-Direetor Riek Willenzik.
“Flaving just eelebrated our 10th
anniversary, we felt it was a good
time to do just that.”
“The partnership between the
LSJL and CJFF is a natural,” said
LSJL Program Direetor Nieole
Lamparello. “Both groups share
the eommon goal of ereating pro
gramming that is designed to
bring the eommunity together for

Join Moishe House Charlotte
for an exeiting month of events.
Moishe House is a nonprofit
organization dedieating to pro
moting eommunity among Jewish
young adults in their twenties and
early thirties. Moishe House looks
to fill the void that often exists
after graduating eollege and prior
to “settling down.” The Moishe
House Foundation ineludes over
63 houses in 14 eountries around
the world. The organization
brings together groups of three to
five Jewish adults who live to
gether and plan loeal programs,
both home-based and external, for
other young Jewish adults.
Moishe House Charlotte began
in August 2013 and has hosted
over 60 events ranging from serv-
iee projeets to soeial events to
Jewish learning. Diana Warth,
Elana Congress, and Audrey
Singer reside in the house itself.
