After raising nearly $250,000 over the summer for the Stop the Sirens Campaign, Al ison is already a seasoned veteran; and she’s eager to get the an nual eampaign underway. The eampaign will offieially kiek-off as the Federation eele- brates “75 Years of Living Generously” at the Main Event on De- eember 11 at 7:30 PM at The Knight Theater at the Levine Center for the Arts. The goal for the 2015 Campaign is $3,700,000 and Alison and her leadership team know they ean meet that goal with the help of every member of our eommunity. Itzik was hired in part due to the generosity of The Jewish Federation’s Impaet and Innova tion Fund. Funding was also generously provided from the Blumenthal Foundation and The Leon Levine Foundation. In this role, Itzik will be dedieated to advaneing Jewish eampus aetiv- ity at UNCC as well as both identifying and eonneeting with unengaged students and deepen ing Flillel’s work with eurrently engaged students. In addition, Itzik will work to ereate, en- hanee and strengthen loeal Jew ish eommunity relationships. Itzik was bom and raised in Israel, where he served in the IDF and Israel Poliee Depart ment. Fie moved with his wife and ehildren to the US in 2001, settling in New Jersey, where he worked for many years at YM- YWHA of North Jersey in Wayne, and served as the Hillel Direetor at William Paterson University. Fie reeently relo- eated onee more with his family to North Carolina and is exeited to be a part of the NC Flillel team.
