Some are made up of mixed temple groups, with the eurrieulum writ ten by our elegry for all of our stu dents. We have eompleted the first mixed temple module. The foeus was on Jewish visions of God. Eighth and ninth grade students thoughtfully diseussed their own ideas about the Divine Presenee. Ineluded in these diseussions were diffieult questions sueh as God vs. seienee and God in the Holoeaust. The aetivities erafted to elieit stu dent response were interaetive, age appropriate, and fun. That is quite a tall order, given the serious nature of the subjeet. Having the opportunity to mix with friends from both temples was an added bonus. Students have more great learn ing experienees to look forward to in the future. The next eombined module will begin on Deeember 3. The theme for that four week session is “Jewish Responses to Rabbi Noam Raucher (far right) leads the 9th grade Core Class in a les son about their relationship with God. Hunger and Homelessness.” It will begin with a joint eighth and ninth grade Poverty Simulation. It’s not too late to enroll your 8th through 12th grade students today. A new Hebrew High ses sion begins on Deeember 3. Don’t let them miss out on the Hebrew High experienee.
