Film Festival Fan Appreciation Day
(Continued from page 1)
the Israeli Football League reeeived a boost from New Eng
land Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who funded a stadium.
Today, the Israeli Football League is thriving, with 10 teams
and nearly 500 players from a eross-seetion of Israeli soei-
ety, ineluding Arabs, Christians, seeular, and Orthodox
Jews. In a eountry where off-the-field rivalries run
deep. Touchdown Israel eelebrates the unifying power of
sports amidst the broad religious and eultural diversity of
Israel.
Before the film, the CJFF will hold a speeial tailgating
event (food and beverages provided). Touchdown Israel’s
direetor Paul Hirsehberger is also seheduled to appear to do
a talk baek with the audienee after the film.

The CJFF is proud to announee that it has reeently been
awarded a generous grant from The John S. and James L.
Knight Foundation who supports transformational ideas that
promote quality journalism, advanee media innovation, en
gage eommunities and foster the arts. The Knight Founda
tion believes the arts are a great eatalyst for publie dialogue
and that shared eultural experienees eontribute to a sense of
