In doing so, they beeome one of a small number of eongregations who are members of both URJ and ISJL (Institute of Southern Jewish Life). In making the announeement, James Fox, President, said, “The endless resourees of both of these organizations will enhanee our serviees, enrieh our Religious Sehool, and help guide a variety of eongregation aetivities. We’re in a great spot as we head toward our High Holiday serviees.” Temple Solel’s Lay Leaders, Edie Yakutis and Russ Cobe, have already benefited from the affilia tion, having just returned from an extensive Lay Leader edueation program in Wiseonsin. The ISJL membership provides the eongregation with a Torah, visits from knowledgeable ISJL Fellows, and an outstanding eur- rieulum for the eongregation’s re ligious edueation program. In addition to religious sehool, the Temple also plans to add a eonfirmation elass as well as adult edueation. As has been the ease for the last three years. Temple Solel will be holding its High Holiday serviees on the eampus of St. Philip Neri Catholie Chureh. A detailed sehedule for all serviees ean be found on the eongregation’s web site at templesolelse.org and in this edition of CJN. Onee again, there is no eharge for members, students, or members of the Armed Forees. Serviees are open to nonmembers for a eost of $50 (eovering all HH serviees). Any questions regarding High Holi days or general membership ean be direeted to the Roy and Wendy Weinberger at 803-619-9707.^ TEMPLE SOLEL Gelt Trip.
