The Charlotte Jewish News - November 2015 - Page 10 CJP Celebrates the Holidays The children at CJP have been celebrating and learning all about the holidays during the Hebrew month of Tishrei. We learned how to blow the shofar, say I’m sorry to our friends, shake the lulav and etrog, and dance with the Torah. We visited the many sukkahs around Shalom Park and went to Temple Israel to look inside a Torah that was dressed up for the holidays in white. We searched in the Torah for Hebrew words we could recognize like “Moshe.” The holidays are filled with joy at CJP. ^ HEARTS ON FIRE Wi - IGNITE % fSOivurniiN^ 4*i|iLV tHl f t ^ a - fTuir."C An ^ R-TSTimiJNO'r rifctA NC IT DAVI D’S ATQ THE VILLAGE AT SOUTH PARK Just Two Doors Down from Crate & Barrel CHARLOTTE LATIN S C H O O L 704-364-6543 www.davidsltd.conn You are invited to Look (oiLatin Take a closer look, in a smaller group, at CLS innovations: The Early Child: Beginning School November 12, 2015 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. Arts, Athletics, Clubs and Enrichment: Co-curricular Life at Latin November 18, 2015 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. STEAM: Students Create and Innovate January 8,2016 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Application Deadline: January 15, 2016 What Makes Latin Special: Developing the Leader in Each Child February 6, 2016 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. www.charlottelatin. org/L ookAtL atin ...&yeS coe^ www.charlottelatin.org 9502 Providence Road Charlotte, NC 28277 Admissions Office: 704.846.7207 Financial assistance is available.
