Lord, IV, guest speaker, is a member of Herrick’s Art Law Group, based in New York City, and represents collectors, art dealers, claimants, auction houses, and museums in matters relating to art and cultural property law. His ongoing cases include his work with Marei von Saher - the heir of Dutch art dealer Jacques Goudstikker - who is pursuing the re covery of hundreds of artworks that were seized by the Nazis during World War 11. Mr. Lord is a graduate of Davidson College, UNC-Chapel Hill (M.A., Ph.D.) and Columbia University (J.D.).
