The Annual Meeting of the
Jewish Federation of Greater
Charlotte will take plaee on Mon
day, May 23 at 7 PM in the Sam
Lemer Center for Cultural Arts at
Shalom Park. Please join us to
honor Outgoing President, Holly
Levinson and weleome Ineoming
President, Larry Sehwartz.
During the Annual Meeting, the
2016-2017 slate of offieers and
Board of Trustees will be pre
sented, and an eleetion will be
held. Anyone eontributing at least
$36 to the Annual Campaign is
eonsidered a voting member.

tured aeross the US and abroad on
international relations, Israel and
Middle East affairs, Soviet and
World Jewry, terrorism, the Amer-
iean Jewish eommunity, and inter
group relations. He has traveled
extensively in East and West Eu
rope, Central Asia, the Persian
Gulf, North and South Afriea,
Australia, and the Middle East,
meeting with leading government
offieials, world leaders and Jewish
eommunities.
Hoenlein serves as an advisor
to many pub lie offieials and is fre
quently eonsulted on pub lie poliey
issues. He appears regularly in the
media.
He has been deseribed by
