Sometimes referred to as “Jewish jazz,” Klezmer musie is rooted in eastern European lively danee tunes and was revived in the mid-1970s. Members inelude Gene Kavadlo, prineipal elarinetist with the Char lotte Symphony; Ali Kavadlo, prineipal violinist emeritus with the Charlotte Symphony; and Dr. PaulNitseh, pianist, the Maeavity Artist-In-Residenee at Queens.^
