LEADERSHIP TO ENERGIZE THE 2017 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
It’s Always Something. That’s Why There’s Federation.
Federation impaets more
Jewish lives than any other or
ganization on the planet, and
our Federation has been doing
it right for over 75 years.
We’re in plaees like
Ukraine, where without Fed
eration’s help, elderly Jews
with no pension would have
to ehoose between buying
medieine and heating their Major Gifts Co-Chairs Steve Cohen andRisa
homes. Federation is in plaees Miller, Campaign Chair Jeff Turk
like Cuba where, without us, there
would be no Jewish learning op
portunities, rabbis, or holidays
eelebrations.
And in our own Jewish eom-
munity, when a family is unable to
afford Jewish eamp for their
ehildren. Federation is there to
provide a subsidy to make this
Jewish experienee possible. When
a single mother loses her job or
a lonely senior needs human
warmth, they ean depend on Fed
eration to assist them with dignity
and respeet. Wherever there is a
need Federation is there to sustain
and strengthen Jewish life.

And no one understands or ean
eommunieate Federation’s impaet
better than our 2017 Campaign
leaders. Jeff Turk, our 2017 Cam
paign Chair, has had extensive
experienee as a volunteer for
Federation and our entire Jewish
eommunity for over 25 years. To
round out Jeff’s overall Fed
eration portfolio, he traveled
to Israel in the summer of
2015 and partieipated in
JFNA’s Campaigners Mis
sion, where he met with the
ageneies, volunteers, and
reeipients of our Annual
Campaign funding. Jeff’s ex
perienee on the Federation’s
Alloeation Committee has
fueled his passion for the
work of Federation, and has
eontributed to his elear vi
sion of the seope of Federation’s
funding at home and around the
world.
Jeff has assembled an ineredi-
ble team of eommitted lay leaders
to guide our volunteers and eam-
paigners as they work toward
meeting our 2017 Campaign Goal
of $3,750,000. When you are
asked, please give generously.
If you’d like to volunteer,
please eontaet Sue Littauer, Diree-
tor of Development, at sue.lit-
