They eel- ebrate Jewish holidays together, try to solve the world’s problems together, and learn to love Israel and the Jewish people together. That in a nutshell is Charlotte’s Hebrew High. It’s a plaee where teens ean feel proud to be their Jewish selves in a non-judgmental, earing, atmosphere. Teaehers and students work hand in hand to foster Jewish pride and insure Jewish eontinuity. NC 28207 704.333.6694 www.swimmerinsurance.com Jackie Jewel, a Hough High School freshman, member of Temple Kol Tikvah in Lake Norman and BBG Chapter Ohavim, has had her entry to North Carolina PTA Reflections Program advance to the county level. Her ballroom dance entry was filmed at the Shalom Park Butterfly Gar den and was choreographed to George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. The Viennese waltz entry was titled “Butterflies in Blue ” and her part ner was Ranko Bogosavac, her coach at Metropolitan Ballroom in Charlotte. Jackie will be competing at the Heritage Classic Dancesport Championship at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville on March 1.
