Two jailers and a bondsman will be present for "arrests." For a buck you can charge anyone with anything, and it will cost them two bucks (or a little time in jail) to get out. Why do 1 worry that 1 would either go broke by the end of the evening or spend the entire night in jail? Here's to courage! (Send contributions to the Save The Jour nalist fund c/o the Brass Rail on March 6). Festivities begin around 9 p.m. I heard that the reason QlCQl is having "Wearin' O' The Green" the day after SI Paddy's Day is that St. Boom Boom was kissing a blarney stone and forgot what day it was. It's also been said that she was kneeling deep in prayer when she thought of the idea for her number — whoops, act! 'Wearin' O' Green' ScheduledFor Scorpio Mar. 18 There's no inflation when it comes to QCQ's "Wearin' O' The Green," and that's great with a show that will feature Boom Boom Latour and Gerri O'Neal — both of whom performed in the first “Wearin' O' The Green" seven years ago. Cost is the same: $2 lor members and S3 for guests, same ck in 1981. The location will be the Scorpio. The date: Wednesday, March 28. Other performers for the show, which begins at 11 p.m., will be Blair Williams, who is debuting as a female impersonator, Tracy Mor gan, Tina Terrell, Amber Bloke, Buffie DeMoreau and Grand Prix. The show starts at 11 p.m. "Wearin' O' The Green" was QCQ's first-ever production. The Odyssey event earned more than $800 for the then-new organization. Romanovsky & Phillips To Perfoim On April 20 In an Easter Monday holiday concert, Ron Romanovsky and Paul Phillips will return on April 20 for their third Char lotte engagement. The comedy and music duo from San Francisco — who have attracted thou sands of fans nationwide — will give an 8 p.m. performance at the Unitarian Church as a fund-raising event for New Ufe MCC. R&P launched their career at San Francisco's Valencia Rose Cafe in 1982, performing regularly at Gay Comedy Open Mike. Though they had no thought of being a comedy team, they neverthe less developed a reputation among au diences for witty lyrics about the joys and absurdities of being gay. In 1983 they played 18 cities in their first national tour. They have released two albums on their own label.
