out in the stars April 17-30 by C. Lichtenstein Special to Q-Notes Harsh Saturn conflicts with both dizzy Neptune and mad Mars. Life has a way of giving us a sharp lesson for every half-hearted attempt so put yoUr heart into it or expect due punishment. ARIES (March21-April20) Expect sonie interesting monetary conflicts when Saturn forms a Grand Cross with retro Mars and nebulous Neptune. Funds seem to slip though your slippery fingers and all your pockets seem to have holes. Rather than become a lender or a borrower, gay Rams should avoid it all and entertain them selves with cheap thrills instead. No names, please! TAURUS (April 21 - May 21) Power struggles abound when Saturn opposes Mars and squares Nepmne. Queer Bulls grapple with the conflict of either giving of themselves too much (and losing their independence) or giving of them selves too little (and losing their companion or their professional status). These personal decisions will set the course for you for the next several months. GEMINI (May22-June21) We all have our personal prisons, pardner, but during the Saturn, Mars, Neptune Grand Cross, even balanced gay Twins are apt to tip the scales and tumble into the abyss. Don’t be tempted to escape from it all; you are made from sterner stuff, cousin. Face the demons at home or at work and let them know who’s boss...uh, who is the boss? CANCER (June22-July23) Life is one big seesaw for proud Cancers. The Grand Cross will force otherwise compromising Crabs to make a choice; friends or lovers. Who do you take to the dance? I suppose it depends upon who is the most congenial. But choose carefully, even the summer can have its cold, cold nights. LEO (July24-Aug.23) If proud Lions are pulled in three directions, chalk it up to the Grand Cross. Partners, family and bosses all vie for your attention and a piece of your flesh. Don’t get pulled apart, cousin; take everything slowly and keep your sense of humor. Suggestion: If bosses want a piece of you, give ’em your middle finger. Give lovers something much lower. VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23) Every little gripe on the job is magnified and amplified during the Grand Cross. If you’re itching to start a revolution, go ahead, comrade, but strike with your eyes fully open and prepared to deal with aftershocks. Proud Virgins are usually fairly precise; however retro Mars now has you flailing at appari tions. Pick at scabs later. LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23) Sex, drugs and rock and roll haunt you like a mantra throughout the Grand Cross. You’re tempted to dance the night away in flimsy peekaboos and gulp intoxicants like candy. But the cost of lusty fun may be too steep for even pink Libras as retro Mars pumps up the literal and figurative price tag. How about a cup of tea with your auntie instead? SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22) Gay Scorps feel the urge to explode like fireworks. Such attention grabbing will eclipse the needs of partners and family. Like a firecracker, you’ll cause a big bang, dissipate and-be swept up with the gar bage. So, why stir up a commotion now when you lack stamina and follow through? Wait until later when you are again a force to be reckoned with. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 22) If your intuition runs into overdrive, blame the impact of the Grand Cross. Proud Archers may wind up saying some fairly extraordinary things during this transit, many of which can disrupt the work place. (So what else is new?) Leave the daily injus tices to someone else and use this time to clean out the crap in your own closet. Burn it to dust! CAPRICORN (Dec. 23 - Jan. 20) Queer Caps may feel that friends are reining them in and preventing them from letting loose and hav ing fun. Chalk up this frustration to the Grand Cross. Fact is, sweetheart, compadres have your best inter ests at heart and you are far too scatterbrained to be left alone. Wait until you can party hearty and not lose the bank in the process. AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19) If you have an overwhelming urge to dye your hair lavender and dress in transparent mumus at work, take some time off instead. The Saturn/Nep tune/Mars Grand Cross tempts otherwise sensible Aqueerians to take unnecessary corporate risks that could create problems for future success and status. Avoid confrontation with superiors by whining to pals instead. PISCES (Feb. 20 - March 20) Pink Fish want to change the world, but should settle for a street corner instead. The Grand Cross has you focusing on global problems that you cur rently do not have the resources to change. Breathe in, breathe out; you’re better off mediating on a fu ture course of action rather than plowing ahead.
