On Friday April 20, the activities kick-off with the “Crawl Before you Walk” event in Five Points and the Vista. This year’s walk will feature a route from Finlay Park through downtown Columbia and around the State Capitol. It culminates with food, enter tainment and activities in Finlay Park. Billie Rose, who for the better portion of her life championed causes when it was not always popular, died from a three-year battle with cancer on March 20 at her home.
