Badin Presbyterian Church With the coming of the New Year, and all the opportunities it affords, let us return to the House of God to worship. A warm welcome awaits everyone to worship with us in the Community Building. As the new Pastor, I am anxious to serve everyone, irresjiective of church affiliation. The French Houses The remaining of the French apart ment houses goes briskly forward, on the color plans devised by Mr. Birch Burdette Long, an artist and architect from New York. These color schemes have been very skillfully worked out to harmonize with the colors of the soil and surroundings of each house. The effect is very happy, and oftentimes beautiful, tending to bring out the really pretty architectural features of the ex terior of those quaint and picturesque houses. Thanks to the Company and to Mr. Long’s artistry, the appearance of our town will be greatly improved. Badin Methodist Church Man is born into the world with a religious impulse. Dear reader, if you are not attending religious service?, un less providentially hindered, you are n danger of atrophy of your religious na ture.
