Page Ten BADIN BULLETD ^ ^ DEPARTMENTAL NEWS ^ s^ ^ Pot Room Notes Of course the bosses have been work ing hard to get better metal all the time; but of late the men have been puttinc; forth an extra effort, and things are certainly looking bright for a banner year, if things keep going the way they have started. It seems that some of the other plants are trying to do the same thing; and for the benefit of the fellows here, a chart is being put on showing the standing of the plants making the best grade of metal. Badin has been leading the list several times, and never goes down the ladder lower than second place; and it now bids fair that the Badin plant will be classed as one hun dred per cent, on grade at the end of the year. Some of the plants up north naturally think they ought to make the best metal; and if they didn’t, Maryville would; but we are fooling them all. This is the youngest plant, but has a better average than any of the other plants; and Maryville is not even in the running. We certainly have got those fellows over in Tennessee guessing and sitting up nights scratching their heads. If the rest of the plants didn’t beat their last week’s record, we will top the list again this time. Here is the standing of the different rooms from March 1 to 15: Copper Production Consumption 26 34 34 32 32 32 28 26 28 34 36 36 36 28 26 The following is a list of sections that have their copper below the red line. Those fellows cer tainly have been on the job for red rods and in fact everything in general. TheJ are to be commended for their excelled’ showing. It wouldn’t be fair not to me'’" tion the other sections in the above li**' as you may know when a section is belo'^ the line, that all the fellows are workii'^ together. It won’t be long before whole plant can show their copper the red line. Let us all pull to that e''' L. H. Stepp is head potman in roo*® 32.
