Tate Baptist Briefs The good people of Badin rejoice that the church affairs of our city are “look ing up.” It is great for any community when all its churches are growing. “Go-to-Church Sunday” was quite help ful to Baptist interests. Our people greatly enjoyed that night the sermon of Brother Houser, the popular pastor of our Methodist brethren. Our Sunday School completed its “Mis sion Drive” the first Sunday in April, rounding up a collection of more than one hundred and fifty dollars, and it had just given the Armenian sufferers about fifty dollars. Join in with us, and help us honor the Lord more and more. The Construction Committee promise that readers of this issue of the Bulle tin shall see our church walls begin to rise again. J. M. Arnette, Pastor Mr. S. E. Corbett went to Salisbury, April 15, to attend a union meeting of the Knights of Pythias Lodge. From Salisbury, he went to Charlotte, to at tend the homecoming of the One Hundred and Twentieth Infantry. Mr. P. D. Johnson, of Raiford, is with his daughter, Mrs. R. B.
