In one apartment there is a family of Wolves (Wolfs), in another there are several Foxes, and be tween them there is only a Pannell.' Look out, there may be lively times there! Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Crow, of Monroe, recently were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Wake. Mr. and Mrs. Crow made Badin their home for two years, prior to Mr. Crow's service in the army, and have many friends here who remember them very pleasantly. Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Stokes. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Boulware, and Mr. W. A. Bur dette, left Saturday for Leeds, S. C. Mr. E. C. Craven of 57 Poplar Street, who has been seriously ill, is greatly improved, and able to be out again. Dr. Ella B. Cox reports a very delight ful time on her vacation, spent at Luray and Natural Bridge, Va. Mrs. B, K. Lentz, of Salisbury, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Clark, on Falls Road. Mr. H. L. Grant has returned from a two weeks’ vacation in Onslow County, N. C. Mr. J. W. Frazer has returned from Baltimore and other points north. Mr. Fred Childers has returned from Blacksburg, S. C. Say!
