Vann and Cress, both Southpaws, pitched good ball, with Vann having the better support. Badin hit Cress for six safeties, one of them being a home run by Rees. Score by innings: Crossroads 000 000 001 Badin 002 010 OOx Albemarle received a bad beating in the game played on Saturday, August 21, Badin scoring fifteen runs while Albe marle collected but four. York pitched a two-hit game, and his teammates batted three Albemarle pitchers freely. Coupled with York’s fine pitching was some of the best fielding seen here this year, Badin playing errorless ball behind the big pitcher. SCOUTS DISPORTING THEMSELVES AT CAMP LOOKOUT.
