Page Six CLOUDBUSTER Saturday, December 12, 1942 Know the Enemy’s Planes JAPANESE NAKAJIMA TORPEDO BOMBER As the twenty-second in its series of enemy plane silhauettes, the Aero nautical Chamber of Commerce of America shows the Japanese Nakajima torpedo bomber, a three-place biplane powered by a 950 h.p, radial engine. The plane has fixed landing gear and slightly staggered wings with a notice- abh dihedral. The wings and horizontal elements of the tail are untapered and hare rounded tips. Next in line was the Manner squadron with 36, followed by the Coronadoes with 34^/2 points and the Buffalo squadron with 331/2. Soccer had the closest competition, the first four clubs being only one-half point apart. The Vindicators and Buc caneers tied for ihe lead with 17 points. Tied for the third and fourth spots were the Catalinas and Buffalo squad ron with 16 V2. This week the winter sports program got underway with all teams starting from scratch. Basketball, soccer, box ing, track, pushball, handball, and wrestling will highlight the intramural program during the next two weeks. Johnny, a short, ruddy blond youth of 19, has been visit ing Dr. and Mrs. Franz Gutmann of Chapel Hill sinr^e Monday. As he had some free time while recuperating from appendicitis, he journeyed from his station at Napier Field, Dothan, Ala., to see Dr. and Mrs. Gutmann, the only two people he knew in the States be fore coming here.
