Cummins Chaplain Corps, USNR “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I unll give you rest.”— Matthew 11:28. When we see that in Jesus Christ God has been fully made known, then to us and to all people the Great Invitation is extended to come to Him, just as we are—rich or poor, good or bad, blind or seeing, ignorant or understand ing, proud or humble—we are all to come unto Him. “Come” is a word of the world also. From every evil in the world is flashed out the in vitation, “Come,” skillfully camouflaged by the devil himself. We are told that we can sow all the seeds of sin—hatred, greed, pride, envy, all ungodliness—^without reaping the harvest of death. But the good in us which has not been stifled cries out against this untruth. But in God’s “Come,” lies the only hope of a hopeless world. It is the same word, spelled and pronounced like the word of the world, but it holds an eternal, God-filled meaning. And every wandering, sin-sick soul may find by coming to Him the absolute truth of His promise: “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” Sunday Divine Services Protestant 1000 Memorial Hall Roman Catholie 061S Gerrard Hall 1000 Hill Musie Hall Jewish 1000 Graham Memorial • « « Chaplain's Office Hours: Daily, OSSO>1700; Monday and Wednesday, 08S0-1800.
