Vol. 1-No. U
Friday. September 14. 1945.
IS YOUR OPINION?
It has been suggested by some em-
ployees that we shoTold take advan
tage of some form of group health
and life insurance, and if possible,
hospitalization insurance. The
health and life insurance would pay
the employee a portion of his salary
in case of sickness, starting with
the eighth day of his illiness. In
case of death, the face value of the
policy would be paid to his bone—
ficiaiy. The hospital insurance
would pay the employee f3»00 per day
for hospital room and in addition,
cover extra laboratory tests and
other services. The premium for
such policies would be taken out of
the weekly payroll. If you are in
terested in this proposition, please
contact Mr, Ponish. If a sufficient
number of inquiries are made, we will
be willing to investigate the matter
further.
Another matter that was brought to
our attention is that of changing
the pay day from weekly to bi-weekly
basis. This would save the office a
great deal of book-keeping, however,
we would not want to change unless
it is so desirea by all employees
concerned. The only reason we bring
this matter up is that one of the
employees suggested it.
