During the past few months it has been
our pleasure to have representatives of
many leading aircraft, engine and avia
tion accessory manufacturers visit our
operation. All of them have been here to
see for themselves if Piedmont is really
the hi^ -type of organization they nood
as distributor, and believe me, those
follovTS vfant nothing but the best,
I om vory happy to report to you that
ovory single one of thoso manufacturers
havo had nothing but the best to say for
Piedmont. Several of thorn have alroacfy
appointed your company as distributor,
the most rocont of lAihich are E,adio Cor
poration of Amorica and Republic Aviation
Corporation, builders of the famous P47
and now the all-metal SoaBoe amphibian
for private owners.
Perhaps you do not realize -t±Lat you
played a vory substantial part in mcJcing
all this possible. As a matter of fact,
about 99^ of our saccess in this regard
is as a direct result of your offorts*
I want to thank you from the bottom of
my heart for your cooperation. The neat
imliner in which you have loft the shops
and the beautiful work you have done on
the ships has imde a very firm impression
on our visitors.
Wo don’t want to lot all of this go to

probably the roughest poriod fixed base
operators will over go through—and it’s
plenty tough. You know it yourself. Wo
aro sweating it out though, and v/ith your
continual cooperation, we aro going to
