Piedmont is certificated to serve Huntington, and will begin service into Huntington- Ashland, through a joint airport, when it is completed late this Summer. 2. This should be a good stop = there’s money in them thar hills. ^ ^ INT SPORTS - By Tom Morton The first and second innings have proved fatal to the Piedmont INT Softball Team in their first three competitive games in the City Commercial League> as they have lost each game by runs scored by their opponents in these innings. -Repeated erro.ts and walked batters, have enabled their opponents to build up more runs in these opening innings than the local sluggers have been able to overcome. In the opening match against Mim’s Esso at South Park School on April 23, the local team gave up three walks and two errors which enabled their opponents to score five runs in the first inning. The game was called after five innings on account of darkness with Mim’s Esso still out in front 7 to 5.
