THE PIEDMONITOR. May 1, 1951. Page 1. Ho SMITH has been with Piedmont as Agent at TRI, and Rufus G, COOK at IMN. Communications has acquired the services of Radio Technician B. A. WOLFF, New Faces in the Line Maintenance, INT, include T. J. BAILEY and C. C. FLETCHER, Junior Mechanic and in Reservations INT Irene M. COCKE is now handling space control charts. The Fixed Base Line Crew lost Frank Leroy MONTGOMERY to the Traffic Department of the Airline Division. He is now station agent INT. The Fixed Base Division welcomes D. G. CLARK to the Line at ORF and Kenneth E. FOX to the Line at INT. Russell E. BASS has joined ORF Fixed Base as Mechanic, and Dorothy TURNER is our new clerk in the ORF Fixed Base Office. Flight Operations is a busy Department these days - What with checking out Captains (4) and transition for new First Officers (10) and recent equipment utilization, the scheduling has been a complicated matter. The results of the hustle and bustle are that we now find Burt REHDER, and Bill ROBERTSON, former flight instructors for Fixed Base, on the line as First Officers, In addition, we now have 6 new First Officers, namely W. D. DOUB, C. F. HAUCK, J. W. BERRYHILL, R. P. SMITH, JR., R. B. SWARTZ, and A. Q. CRISLER. New Captains on the line are Ernest CyDAR'K/H. 'A. HAGANS, Mike HOLTON, and J. A. CRAIG. You too„ H. C. KELLEY. Its good to have Herb DREW. Bill MANOS and Sam PARNELL back in INT Visitors at INT during the month included George WILSON, former ORF Captain, now in the Navy, Larry KELLY, Former First Officer, now in the Army, and George LAVRINC, CVG Radio Technician. sjc 3jt sjc sjs aje It’s almost a sure bet that every one will join in thanks to each of you who contributed to this issue of your PIEDMONITOR.
