MEET YOUR PIEDMONITOR STAFF JIM HANSON VIC CONARY JACK BRANDON In. response to many requests, this month's department feature presents the operating staff of the Piedmonitor. Amateurs all, the staff enthusiastically gets out the paper each month, always looking for that which is novel and different. A more widely varied group would be hard to find. First our cartoonists, JIM HANSON and JACK BRANDON. Jim, Norfolk First Officer, is a fighter pilot veteran of both World War II and Korea, and came to Piedmont a couple of years ago. He has happily cartooned everything in sight in the meantime. Jack Brandon, Winston-Salem Station Manager, has been with Piedmont since the year one. Jack's been Station Manager at more stations than not, and his cartoons have provided many a bright spot. We have also got photographers by the dozen. FRANK NICHOLSON is better known to all of you as System Chief Pilot, and is quite a shutterbug, as is VIC CONARY, Winston-Salem Captain. HOWARD MARTIN, Norfolk Radio Technician, handles our work there. LESTER MULLIS is the Barfield Instrument Company's representative at Piedmont, while CLYDE ENNIS, once a commercial photographer in Danville, is in our Sheet Metal Shop. Our printing is admirably handled by ROY PRUITT, who continues to amaze everyone, including the Multigraph people, by doing the impossible (witness this month's cover). The Editorial Staff is made up of MARY IRVIN REAVIS and BILL HOBART. Mary Irvin has been around Piedmont for five years, and is Zeke Saunders' Secretary. Bill Hobart came to Piedmont about three years ago as Director of Training, which is a polite way of saying - Jack of All Trades, Master of None. LESTER MULLIS have enjoyed getting out the Piedmonitor, and it's become a point of pride with us to do the best we can. We're all only amateur journalists and we'll make mistakes - but keep your criticisms and suggestions coming, we appreciate 'em. Well, there we are! Hope you all like our effortsi ROY PRUITT MARY RE AVIS -10- FRANK NICHOLSON HOWARD MARTIN CLYDE ENNIS BILL HOBART
