PAGE SIX THE PIEDMONITOR APRIL-MAY, 1967 PAI's Part in Azalea Festival Piedmont Airlines not only sends an attractive young lady to the Wilmington Azalea Festival each year, but also brings in a number of celebrities for the occasion. ILM based stewardess Deidrah Craig was the lucky representative of the Company to the 1967 Festival. She is the blonde in the top left photo signing autographs. Shown below Dee is television star Jim Pritchett, alias Dr. Powers of “The Doctors," boarding Fit. 90 for LGA. Welcoming him aboard is ATL based stewardess Carol Lynch. In the bottom left photo Carol wel comes Glonn Corbett of “Route 66" and "The Road West" fame aboard the same flight. The top right photo is of Queen Azalea XX, Miss Melody Patterson, as she departed on Fit. 61. Miss Patterson stars in the television series "F-Troop". A nationally famous singing group. The Five Kingsmen, are shown in the center picture as they arrived in Wilmington for the Festival. Below the Kingsmen is tele vision star Peter Breck seen regularly on “The Big Valley". Miss Pat Priest, television and motion picture starlet, also flow into ILM on Pied mont to attend the Festival as did “The Four Preps".
