INTERESTING INTERLINING
Halcyon Hotels of London has something
for everyone on St. Lucia, but especially for the
airline employee and his family. It’s a 35 per
cent discount on all accommodations through
December 14. You can stay at one of the world’s
newest and most modern resorts, the Halcyon
Days resort, near Vieux Fort, for $18 single or
$26 double, Modified American Plan. With its
250 rooms, the Days is located on the Atlantic
side of the Island of St. Lucia in an 83-acre
coconut grove. There are dozens of activities —
and after sundown, dancing to the music of the
sargest steel drum band you’ve ever seen.
There are six bars and two restaurants avail
able. Contrary to what you’ll find throughout
the Caribbean, 3^ou can “go informal” all the
time at the Days. No one dresses formally for
meals. If you prefer something a little on the
quiet, secluded side and even less formal, how
about the Halcyon Beach Club. It’s located on
the other side and other end of the Island, on
the outskirts of Castries. The Club’s 40 cabana-
styled rooms open out onto the beach. Airline
rates at $13 for singles, $23 for doubles and

Though smaller, the Club is just as “in,” and
also is a complete resort. Want to go in season
(December 15 through April 30) ? Rates for
any airline employee are only a bit higher. At
the Days, it’s $31 double, $23 single, MAP,
and at the Beach Club, $26 single, $36 double
