CLT, RDU, ROA basketballers win Twenty seven teams participated in the 1985 Piedmont Basketball Tournament held in Winston Salem March 22-23. CLT took top honors in Division A, RDU won in Division B, and ROA received a first-place trophy in Division C. In addition, CLT won the Sportsman ship Award. Members of the winning teams are: Division A; CLT Jimmy Mitchell, Michael Littlejohn, Pat Carter, Barry McNeal, Vincent Cook, Wyatt Chase, Bernie Davis, Buck Landom, Dave Gamble, and Rone Garland. Ski Club sponsors July raft trip The Piedmont Ski Club is spon soring a raft trip down the Arkan sas River July 19-22. The package includes two nights’ lodging at the Village Condominiums at Brecken ridge. CO. breakfast each day and all meals during the two-day raft trip. Plan to bring your own tent and sleeping bag for the one night under the stars. The total cost for the raft trip is $205 per person. A $50 deposit is required by May 15 with full pay ment by June 15.
