To join Piedmont’s Senior Class Ttavel Club, a person must be 60 years of age. Piedmont has "Senior Discounts” coupons for sale to persons 62 years or older. The coupons allow senior citizens to fly to any city in the United States served by Piedmont, Henson, The Piedmont Region al Airline, or the Piedmont Commuter System for as little as $74 each way. Booklets of four or eight coupons are available for $348 or $592, respectively, and each coupon is valid for a one-way trip, even if that one-way trip involves a connection. 3. Passengers on our 767-200 flights can turn into one of seven channels: classical, contemporary, jazz, country, and two easy listening, plus a special channel on which music features vary. 4. The YS-11 retired from Piedmont's fleet on March 14, 1982. Pied mont’s inaugural flight with this aircraft was on May 19, 1968. 5. ORR BNARO teams Piedmont softball champs The Norfolk Men’s Softball Team won its eighth consecutive Pied mont title and the BNARO Wo men’s Softball Tfeam, their second title, at the annual Piedmont Soft ball Tburnament, held in Rock Hill, SC, in October, After two victories on a very rainy Saturday and eventually a postponement, the men’s team went on to take three more games and the title in rescheduled play, Tony Trollinger, GSOMM, who hit a seventh inning, game-winning grand slam home run in the game with DAY, was voted most valuable player His batting average was 10 for 11 for the tournament. Barry Smith, INT, hit 10 for 10 with one home run in the final day’s play. Tim Spangler, INT, and Greg Cur tis, INT, each hit 8 for 11. TWenty-eight men’s teams com peted in the tournament. INT-HQ came in second second place fol lowed by DAY in third and CAE in fourth. The BNARO Women’s Team de feated BWlOO in the semi-finals with a score of 14-6, and CLTOO in the finals by 26-5, BNARO player Cheryl Layman was named most valuable player for the tournament.
