Sunshine State gets new service (cont. from page one) leave at 12:10 p.m. and arrive Tampa at 7:44 p.m. The Piedmont Shuttle Link, oper ated by USAir Group subsidiary Henson Airlines, will also expand service in various Florida markets during March. B737 twinjets will be operated on the new LAX flints. Effective March 2, The Shuttle Link wUl introduce new service between Melbourne and Tampa, and at the same time expand service between Tampa and Orlando from two to three daily roundtrip flights. The Tampa flights will connect with Piedmont’s new nonstops between Tampa and l/)S Angeles upon start-up of that service March 15. In addition, new Shuttle Link service will be introduced on March 15 between Gainesville and Tampa, also providing convenient connections with the new LAX nonstop. The new Shuttle Link flights are all operated with 37-seat deHavilland Dash-8 twin engine jet-prop aircraft. As previously announced. Piedmont will introduce two daily nonstop roundtrip flights between West Palm Beach and Charlotte, and increase flights between Orlando and Charlotte to six daily, effective February 15. And on March 2, Piedmont will begin nonstop roundtrip service between Gainesville and Charlotte with three flights daily. Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale will also receive additional daily nonstops to Charlotte March 2. ^ System Status on January 4... The following is a sampling of some of the USAir logo items that are currently available: I Battery-operated 7" x 7" altimeter clock in black with white hands. This attractive wall-hanging clock features the USAir logo in the com pany colors on the face ($25.37). I White baseball cap with USAir logo screen printed in USAir colors on the crown. The cap is available with solid or mesh back, is adjustable, and one size fits all ($3.32). I Lightweight cotton poplin tan jacket lined in white flannel with USAir colors on the left chest. This zipper- front jacket is available in sizes small to extra-large ($29.27). I Small pocket-size flashlight ap proved for flight bags. Battery- operated with clip for pocket or book. White with USAir logo printed in USAir colors ($8.23). I License tag with USAir printed in USAir colors on white background ($1.83). I Navy toboggan cap with USAir knit ted in white on the front, pom-pom on the top. One size fits all ($4.28). I Manual, collapsible Totes umbrella in tan with USAir logo in USAir col ors imprinted on one panel ($10.91). I Joint logo items still available in the shops include the Christmas draw string bear bag, the teddy bears, and several styles of sweatshirts.
