Washington, May 3.—The Am
hasscdor to Mexico and Mrs. Jo
sephus Daniels, who have beer "in
official life" in three Democratic
administrations, celebrated their
46th wedding anniversary yester
day as White House guests.
And today, Mrs. Daniels told how
they u&roe to Washington ( from
North Carolina on their honeymoon
and were received at the White
House by Mrs. Grover Cleveland,
herself scarcely more than a bride,
having fyeien married two years be
fore, June 2, 1886.
"It would make a pretty story if
we could say we had been White
Hotfse guests on both occasions,"
said Mrs. Daniels. "But truth com
pels me to say, we merely called un
the plevelands. Later, we came
here to "live."
Mrs. Daniels said she and her
husband had kept their wedding
anniversary so quiet their hosts,

Wilson, May B.—Wilson will
have ten warehouses when the sea
son opens next fall.
A permit for construction of a
warehouse was issued 1 to R. T.
Smith and W. G. Carr, Jr., today.
I'he s'ructure will be 200 feet by
500 feet, will have approximately
100,000 square feet of floor space
and will be built at an estimated
cost of $40,000.
