joys visiting in her immediate neigh
borhood, the radio and her flowers,
although failing vision prevents
reading and handwork to any great
extent.
Mrs. Schorb invited members of
the immediate family for dinner at
1:30 Saturday and guests were serv
ed a delicious three course dinner.
A lovely birthday cake, decorated in
white, green and pink, and inscrib
ed with the words, "Happy birthday,
Mother," was used as a central dec
oration and provided a thrill for the
honoree who has not had her full
share of "birthday frills."
Among those present were Mr.
and Mrs. W. A. Graham, the former
a son, of Rock Hill, South Carolina;
J. D. Graham, of Smithfleld. Pa.,
who v is also a son; Mrs. Alice Hut
chinson, of Cheraw, South Carolina,
a daughter; Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Ham
mond and Mrs. R. S. King, sons and
daughters of this city, and a number
of the grand children and great
grand children of the honor guest,
together with Mrs. Schorb and her
sons and daughters, Mr. and Mrs.
Graham Schorb, Turner Schorb and
J. T. Schorb.
