Shearouse has an nounced that Typing and Bookkeep ing will be taught in the Highlands School, French will be taught as usual5 however, students may elect tyoing or bookkeeping as a substi tute for French, Also it will be possible for 9th and 10th grade boys to take a course in Health and Physical Education. As in other other subjects, a full unit of cred it will be given for each of the following? typing, bookkeeping, home economics, and health-physical education. It is desirable that the patrons of the Highlands School learn about these added subjects. Beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 20th, Mr. Shearouse will be in his office at the school building from 9200 to 12s00 and from Is00 to 3»00 every week day except Saturday, He will welcome visits from all who wish to come. LECTURE AT MUSEUM The last lecture in the Highlands Biological Station*s Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Series will be given Thursday, August 21, at 8s00 p.m. by Dr, Eugene P. Odum, Department of Biology, University of Georgia, Dr. Odum’s talk on ”Bi|*ds and the Land” will be illustrated with ko- dachrome slides. The Public is in vited.
