The noise of the lit- (Con*t. on page 8) HOSPITAL DRIVE LAGGING By - Mrs. A.T. Carter Collections to the Loyalty Drive of Highlands Community Hospital have dropped off to a serious degree. Hope was held by the co-chairman of the Drive, Mrs. John H.C. Perry and Mr, O.C. Skinner, that an nouncement could be made of the successful conclusion of the Drive at this time. Instead it will be necessary to double check and make appeal calls in order to reach the $10,000 goal. "Have you joined the Hospital Family?" GARDEN TOURS The Highlands Home and Garden Tours, August 6 and 7« sponsored’ by the Highlands Garden Club will af ford people an opportunity of seeinr different types of homes and gardent suited to this part of the councry. The tours are so planned that they take in some of the most scenic views. There are two tours, each $2.00. Each includes free trans portation for the tour and a free trip up Whiteside.
