The story of "Betrayed” deals with the work of the Dutch underground during the Naai occupation, which is filled with suspenseful action and thrills. The ro mance, as it develops between Gable as the ruthless, dynamic, uncompromising leader of the IXitch Intelligence, and Lana Turner as the Dutch beauty whose allegiance to her country is questioned, again give them a chance for some torrid love scenes. Victor Mature, portrays the dashing, daredevil underground leader with color, humor and convincing sincer ity. Wilfrid Hyde-White effectively de picts an English General, giving him a fine sense of humor. ^Betrayed" plays at the Galax Theatre, Tuesday, July 31. Brevard Music Center Events (conH.) play Gabrieli’s Sonata Piano Forte, from ’’Sacrae Symphoniae. ” On the Sundcy concert, July 29, at 4-JOO, John Bitter, conductor of the Uni versity of Miami Symphony, will moke a guest appearance with the Transylvania Symphony. Zvi Zeitlin will be soloist in the Mendelssohn Concerto in E Minor for Violin and Orchestra.
