FLOWER SHOW
The Mountain Symphony of Forest and
Gardens, sponsored by the Highlands Gar
den Club, fulfilled all expectations of
both the members and visitors, and was
well attended.
The most spectacular arrangement greet
ing the public as they entered the audi
torium, was a magnificent display of bi-
gonias, beautifully arranged on the stage
by Dr. Willard Parry.
Mrs. Robert Reese again won the cov
eted sweep-stakes award with 113 points,
comprising many blue and red ribbons.
The Garden Club is proud of her efforts
and the prestige she has earned in winn
ing these awards* Our President and
General Chairman, Mrs. J. Manson Valen
tine again won second place, with 73
points. The Garden Club feels greatly
indebted to Mrs. Valentin© for her part
in making the Flower Show a success.
