About thirty attended. Brook
trout were served.
NEW WELL PUT INTO SERVICE
The Town of Highlands re
cently put into use a new well on
3rd street. This well will pro
duce approximately 45 gallons of
water per minute* This is the
fifth well that the town has dril
led and is the best producer to
date.
IMPROTOiENTS
Improvements have been made
on Spruce «?nd Hickory Streets,
including much culvert construc
tion.
The patching prograiii of
street surfacing has been going
forward. More of this has been
necessexy this spring thoji norm
ally due to the severe winter

A new water line has been
laid down Cullasaja Drive*
The power line on the Dillard
Road has been rebuilt and improv
ed recently*
Approximately twenty people
from Highlf>nds attended the Car
diac Clinic held by Dr* Ralph
