RflD 7:30 R m. merchahdise gathered frcm all over the womd Dlflnonos - WflTCHES -SILVERUJflRE URniTUR RieniflL RUGS innERUjflRE - RYsmujflRE-iinEns BEAUTIFUL GIFTS GIVEN AWAY FREE AT EACH SALE HIGHinnDS RRT GRLLERY ESTABLISHED 27 YEARS ID THE CAROUHAS SILVER A very delightfpl and enjoyable af fair of the past week was the Silver Tea given by the Wonan*s Aiixiliary of the E- piscopal Church* The tea was held at the hoEie of Dr* and Mrs# Green Warren, Country Club Estates# Ihe lovely and spacious hone of Dr# and Mrs* Green Warren was decorated with nany beautiful floral arrangements# A centerpiece of gardenias omoDonted the dining room table; the serving table on an enclosed porch was centered vlth white garden flowersj and there were many beau tiful floral arrangements of yellow, pink, and white glads and dahlies* The tea, which was attended by a large crowd, was most successful* The guests were greeted by Mrs# Warren, l^s* Janes H* Howe, ffjid Mrs# William Caye, Those serving refreshments were Mrs* Lester Dawley, Mrs* Frank Wrightnan, Mrs* Tudor N, Hall, and Mrs. Herbert Koepp-Bok- er* Also helping with the Tea were Mrs* H.D# Porterfield and Miss Kate Jungerman# Miss Rebecca Nall, president of the Woman*s Auxiliary, expresses her thanks to every one for the support of the Tea* NEW TECHNOLOGIST Jir# Dale Moberly who is a registered medical technologist and »-ray technician arrived here Tuesday and is to be respon sible for laroratory and electrocardio*- graphic work of the hospital, Mr* Moberly cones here from Gaffney, S#C* He has work ed in sovural hospitals in North Caro.- lina and South Carolina* Mr# Moberly vdll be joined in about three weeks by his wife and daughter* Mrs# Moberly is a registered nurse and will probably join the staff of the Highlands Coonunity Hospital* FLASHI Coming attraction—-another Broads way star to appear in our last produc tion by the Highlands Community Theatre, Speaking Qf todegj Miss Elizabeth Wilson who has appeared in such New York plays as 11^ 8Xid Taimel Love, as well as the movie versions of these plays, and numerous television pro ductions, is coming to play the leading lady, Annabelle, in this tense, suspense drama which opens on August 20th* Reserve this night for your special house guests because it will be the highlight of the summer season»--the kind of entertainment you*d pay |12*50 for in New York# Watch this newspaper for fur ther details* ROTARY NEWS At the regular meeting of the High lands Rotary Club, Mr# C.E# Mitchell interviewed m^ibers of the Highlands Rotary Club in a program designed to let visitors know more about lives, work^ and families of some of the Highlands Club* Ihose interviewed included Pres# (Con*t on page 8)
