“Welcome” instead of The Hudson Library
it would have expressed the very idea
evident to me as soon as I passed the por
tal* The border of bright marigolds in
front of the library all but spoke that
word^
Jfy first impression was one of sur
prise to find such a going concern in a
spot over 4^000 feet up the mountain, but
after I noted the number and variety of
books available, my astonishment increased*
One could go far and not find a collection
of Reference Books as good^ The biography
group, history and fiction are full, with

HIGHLANDS SCHOOL
OPENS SEPTEMBER 3rd
Mr* F«I* Watson, Frincipel, announces
that the Highlands School will start on
Wednesday, September 3, at 8*45 a«m« Ihe
schedule for the first day will end at
noon, the second day of school will end at
2 p*m*, and the third day will end at 3*15
p«m« as this will be the regular schedule
for the year*

the school this year* 1st and 2nd grades -
