A LSTTSR TO HIGHLMDS
BighlandS| my beloved hcs&e^ I miss
your majestic mountainsi and your silvery
singing waters* I miss your shady little
lanes with their rickety rackety vine*
covered fences wobbling along on either
side# I miss the sun coming up over the
crest of the hillsi casting its rays
down through the early morning mist and
throwing multi-colored shafts of light
into the valley below* I miss the golden
meadows dotted with patches of butter
cups and bluets here and there* I miss
the hill above our house where the lemon
lilies grow in the springtime and straws
berries in early summer* I miss the
unforgettable fragrance of the lilac
trees| and the beauty of the Snowball
