PAGE 5 AUGUST 13. 1959 THE GALAX NEWS comPLEie FOOD store Presbyterian Church News To-night (Thiirsday) at 7*30 at the Manse there vdll be a meeting of the Christian Education Committee# All Sun^ day School teachers are asked to attend* The purpose of the meeting is to review and evaluate some of the changes which have been put into effect and work ob other plans which might be helpful* ®ie Pioneer Fellowship group enjoy ed a supper at the Manse on Wednesday ' evening* Following the supper a good time was had by all in the recreation period* A devotional period closed the meeting# DOUGLAS M* ROBERTSON DIES Douglas M* Robertson, 55^ a senior vice president of the Trust Company of Georgia and a fomer director of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, died Monday in a private hospital in Atlanta# Mr* Robertson had been a summer resi dent of Highlands for a number of years and had been in Highlands this summer# He was a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Highlands Community Hospital and was a member of the Highlands Country Club* The plaque had been placed under his picture at Highlands Community Hospital on Sattirday of last week only two days before his death* Mr* Robertson had done much for the hospital.
