The Highlands Community Hieatre offers Come Back. Little Sheba. The play will run two nights only, Wednesday, July 13> and Friday, July 15. Tickets are now on sale, and you are urged to make your reservations right away, to be sure of getting the seat of your choice# Highlands is extremely fortunate to have a "Little Theatre*’ group of such en thusiastic members* It offers activity and enjoyment to a large nmber of High- (ConH, on page 15) FBEA£ ACCIDENT Monday evening about 700 o* clock a freak accident occured on the Walhalla Road at the Blue Valley Vista. Joseph H* Morgan, and two other boys, all three students at Western Carolina College, were looking at the view believ* ing the car to be safely anchored in park position. However, it must have had a will of its own for it evidently slipped out of park and started over the edge of the embankment. Morgan, owner of the car, and his friends grabbed for it and actual ly had it stopped when one of the boys fell and the car went over, careening 75 feet down the steep embankment before it turned over on its side. The body of the car, a 1957 Ford convertible, was extensively damaged. Biological News The Annual Campaign for memberships in the Highlands Biological Station is now under way. Mrs. F. M. Bird is chair man of the committee with the following members: Mrs. Ralph M* Sargent, Mrs. R* D. Miller, Ellison Magruder, John H. C. Perry, Mrs. Neville Bryson, Mrs. Frank A. Wightman, Miss KLanche Davenport, Support of the educational program for children and adults, conducted at the Station's l^iuseum of Nat\iral History, is being made the basis of the appeal for additional memberships. The High- (Con*t on page 9) SUNSET HILLS The property in the Sunset Hills subdivision is now for sale. Up until now this tract of land had not been avail able. It has been laid out with streets, has a beautiful lake, and is a lovely site for a home. Another asset to this property is that it, is within walking dis tance of town. Stanset Hills is the original Kelsy tract where the hone of the founder of Highlands ia located.
