The Highlands Community Hospital has just received licensure for a general hos pital granted by the Medical Care Commis sion in Raleigh. The license is dated August 18j i960 and has been framed* This license, represents six years of arduous effort. HARDMAN Dr* Patrick Hardman, whose practice is located at Feltham on the outskirts of the London airport in England, has been visiting in Highlands for several weeks* He and his family sailed from England on the 21st of July and reached Highlands in about 11 days. They have been visiting the Fred Allens whom they met about two years ago in England when they were patients of Dr* Hardman. Dr. Hardman thinks Highlands is a charming location, much like the lake dis trict in Great Britian which has rocky crags and trees except on a smaller scale than the mountains here.
