Mr. and Mrs, Archie M. Jdllen an
nounce the marriage plans of their daugh
ter Jane Irene, to Woodrow Warren Wilson
son of Mr, and Mrs, Warren W, Wilson, of
Highlands. The wedding will take place
June 30 at 2:00 P, M, in the Highlands
Baptist Church.
Rev, J. H* Propst will officiate.

ANNUAL BIOLOGICAL MEETINGS
The Annual Meeting of the Board of
Managers of the Highlands Biological Sta
tion vdll be held Satin’day, June 24 at
10:00 in the Coker Building, The Board
of Trustees id.ll meet on Sunday, June 25,
at 3 500 p,m, and the Membership at 4:30
p,m, in the Museum Building,
WCC Graduates
Two Highlanders graduated from Wes
tern Carolina College in the commencement
exercises held Sunday, May 21 I'trs. Mary
Summer Norman and lliss Anr .Harbison,
Mrs, Norman received a B,S* Degree
in Education and is at present working at
the college. She lives in Cullowhee with
her husband and small daughter.
Miss Harbison, who also received a
B,S, Degree in Biucation, vdll begin teach
ing at Miami Edison Senior High School in
Miami, Florida.
RECEPTION TO BE HELD
A reception for Rev, and Mrs, G, Dan
McCall will be held Sunday, June 18 fran
4 to 6 p,m, at the Presbyterian Church,
All friends are cordially invited to at
tend.
Rev, McCall is now the minister of
the First Presbjrterian Church of High
lands, Last summer he acted as supply
minister for the church.
During the past winter, Rev, McCall
did graduate work at the Princeton Theo
logical Seminary toward the degree of
Th,M, in New Testament, He graduated with
that degree this spring. He is also a
graduate of Davidson College and of Colum
bia Seminary, where he received the de
gree of Bachelor of Divinity.
Rev. McCall is married to the former
Miss Linda Bradley Todd of Huntington, W,
Va, Mrs, McCall is a graduate of Agnes
Scott College. They have one child, a son,
Danibl, Jr,
