Each child is asked to bring a bag lunch. Unit leaders will be Mrs. James Ray Smith, Mrs. Wilina Roper, and Mrs, Roy Kinsland, The Mission Study is under the leadership of Mrs. Roy Rickman and Mrs. George Evans. This study will be based on the book, HANA*S D3EW HOME, The Rev. Horace Falls ^ind the Rev. Clinton Bailey will take the children on a hike and have a period of nature study. The campers will collect and identify several leaves and place them in a booklet of their own design. Also assisting will be Mrs. C, T, Taylor and Rev. Robert Clark, BOY SCOUTS HEAR RANGER PETERSON Nineteen Boy Scouts and friends were present at the Boy Scout meeting last Sat urday, District Ranger Don Peterson talk ed to the group and showed movies on U, S, Government land activities, life of a for est ranger, and other activities concern ing outdoor life. Advance camp was planned for the five senior scouts who are working on various badges. The camp is planned so that each boy will leam how to build a campsite and take necessary precautions in prepar ing the camp. Scoutmaster E. C. Magruder announced that the weekly meeting time would be changed to 1:30 p«m* on Saturday after noons, He also stated that all Scouts are required to weaj* their uniforms to the meetings, RHODES OPENS APPLIANCE STORE Mr, Billy Rhodes, a native of Macon County, and his wife, are opening a Gen eral Electric Appliance Store in the Cobb Building, located on East Main Street, A canplete line of General Electric appli ances, as well as some Westinghouse, will be on sale. Mr. Rhodes also does electri cal wiring. The new store will be open Saturday of this week.
