ANNUAL HUDSON LIBRARY SILVER TEA AT WILQOX HOME-—YOU ARE INVITED TEA TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY The home of Mr. and Mrs, Jack Wilcox, to be the location of the annual Hudson Library Silver Tea on August 24th, is per haps one of the most beautiful, as well as unique homes in this area. The house was originally an old barn ly warmth always provided by natural wood. Chestnut, cut off the property, is impressively used for the huge bay doors and clerestory windows. The room is paneled in matched teak and the ”ur- niture is walnut. The fireplace, which extends across the full length of the south end of the living room, is construc ted of native stone and teak, the stone being quarried on the property. At each side of the elevated hearth of hand cut Tennessee marble are towering brass candlesticks, a product of Mexico City, The bedroom wing and library are a part of the original barn and all are decorated with the warm color scheme seen throughout the house.
