EIGHENBERGER MEMORIAL
The order has just been entered with
E« S, Purdom & Company, of Franklin, for
a new sanctuary wall on the Epistle side,
given in memory of the late Mr. C* E,
Eichenberger, of Highlands and Homestead,
Florida* The walnut panels will exactly
match those on the Gospel side, recently
installed in memory of George S* Saussy,
and will support the credence table and
flower sconce memorializing Isobel Jenkins.
Two acolytes* chairs, matching those on
the Gospel side, will also be created by
Purdom* With the completion of this work,
which is expected to bts installed during
October, the sanctuary of the Church of
ALICE SCHULTZ DIES
Mrs* Alice K* Schultz died August
19 in Sarasota, Florida. The funeral
services were held Saturday at eleven
o'clock at the Episcopal Church, the
Redeimer Chapel, in Sarasota.
Mrs* Sch\iltz, who owned a home in
the Mirror Lake Section of Highlands,
had been a summer resident here for many
years. She was a past Grand Matron of
the Order of the Eastern Star of the
State of Florida.

REV, SEWELL TO BE GUEST PREACHER
AT PRESBYTERIAN- CHURCH SUNDAY
The Rev. Grover C. Sewell, pastor of
the First Presbyterian Church of Sanford,
Florida, will be the guest speaker at both
the nine o’clock and eleven o’clock wor
ship services at the First Presbyterian
Church of Highlands. Rev. Sewell is well
known to many in Highlands who worship
with him during the winter in his Sanford
church and who are looking forward to hear
ing him again this Sunday.

at 7130 P. M. in the Shortoff Baptist
Church,
Mr. Ed Talley, President, has re-
q^uested that members of the Organization
(consisting of the Shortoff, Flat Moun
tain, Whiteside, and Cole Mountain areas)
either bring their list of home improve
ments to the meeting or, if they are un
able to attend, mail the list to Miss
Jessie Talley, Miss Dorothy Dendy, or
Miss Gail Calloway. The Organization
must have these items for the scrapbook*
