Soon the DECISION will have to be made. Read ers of this item are asked, "What would you do if the responsibility were yours to Kake the decision?" It is difficult to realize or be lieve that less than two years ago Your Hospital occupied the present new build ing when 19 new beds were made available. It is quite likely that few if any per sons interested then imagined or believed that within this short span of time the need for more beds would be a matter of concern. Yet two short years have again presented the men who are charged with the management of the Hospital the same problem they faced at that time. Growth is inexorable and progress is inevitable if institutions are to keep up with the health needs of people in every area of life. Slightly more than two years ago about 5 patients were cared for each day in Your Hospital while today more than 20 patients received care here daily. Almost every department of Your Hospital has increased in the work that must be done to provide this care...and so there has been a growth in the number of em ployees. Equipment and supplies have also increased in numbers and amounts. Today Your Hospital is Big Business and yet..the same spirit of compassion and tenderness in the care given sick and injured patients is very evident. This is probably the most important item that TICK TOCK GIFTS At The Top of The Hill hJj^urujieyi honey. Once again your Hospital reports the need of Professional Registered Nurses. As said many times before, Your Hospital is ambitious to become Accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Hospitals and it will not achieve this Goal until and when it can indicate the en5)lo3rnient of adequate numbers of Pi*ofessional Nurses, Any reader of this news item either knowing some person in this cate gory of Hospital workers or possibly being one and interested in coming here to serve should get in touch with the Administrator or Head Nurse as soon as possible.
