"ONLY AN ORPHAN GIRL" OPENS
TONIGHT AT 8:30
Opening night is tonight at 8:30
at the Highlands Community Theatre and
the audience will be invited to hiss
the villain and cheer the hero in ’’Only
an Orphan Girl,” a take-off on old-
fashioned ”meller-drammers." Good
seats are available at the box-office
for tonight, Pi*iday, Saturday and Sun
day performances. Curtain time is 8:30
p.m. Thursday through Saturday with a
Sunday matinee at 2 s30 p.m. The box-
office opens at 7s30 p.m.
Tickets are now available in front
of Wit’s End Shop downtown between 10
a.m. and 1 p.m. and again in the after
noon between 2 and U p«m. Ticket head
quarters is being supervised by Mrs,
Ralph Deville and I'frs, Jean Opsahl,
chairmen of the "Elsies” ticket commi
ttee. Tickets may also be purchased
at the boxoffice. Advance reservations
should be made by calling Wit*s End
at 526-3160.

HIGHLAIYDS--CASHIFRS HOSPITAL
BAZAAR JULY 25-26
The Highlands-Cashiers Hospital
Auxiliary will sponsor the annual Hos
pital Bazaar to be held on July 25 and
26. It will be held in the Educationed
Building of the Presbyterian Church.
Sights have been set high for the
purchase of six of the very latest of
beds. Bie cost of each is just under
$liOO.OO.
Each July since 1953 these Bazaars
have been held through the cooperation
of many community organizations and
churches. Over $35,000.00 has been rea
lized, and essential equipment and sup-
lies were given to the hospital.
The prime responsibility of the
Auxiliary continues to be the purchase
of hospital linens, and maintenance of
them is done at monthly meetings held
in the recreation room of the hospital.
Ifeke plans now to visit the bazaar.
It will be a pleasant experience and
you will be sure to find some useful
items.
